Here are a couple great tips for a wonderfully romantic night in.
Either create a personalized card with an outline for the event or just surprise them the day of.
Offer a little Soulful Pampering.
Offer your special someone to get comfortable in a rob and slippers; buying a new fresh and cozy one might be a wonderful idea if they don't already have the accessories.
Have a nice area warmed up and decorated space that is quiet and peaceful. Light some candles, burn some pure essential oils and play some light, easy listening music. Always an option is to turn the satellite radio on "Spa"
Step 1. Fill a bowl large enough to fit both feet into; about ankle deep with warm water. Include some Epson salts or salts and cleanser from one of our beautiful Beauty Through Balance travel kits Step 2. Serve your guest some fresh cut fruit and chocolate while their feet tenderly soak. Make sure they ease their feet into the water to ensure it's not TOO hot for them
Step 3. Use an exfoliating salt to scrub from the foot to the knee. Ensuring you go at it nice and slow, making sure to catch every inch of skin; including between the toes; careful tho if they have ticklish feet you don't get kicked in the head! A firmer grip will help those who are jumpy.
Step 4. Remove feet from water and towel dry; remembering to get in between each toe with a fresh clean towel.
Step 5. Kiss feet if you feel so inclined
Step 6. Use the lotion from one of our Beauty Through Balance Travel Kits. (Warm product in the palm of your hand before beginning.) Gently massage the feet from the toes up to the knees. always remembering to stroke up towards the heart. Work the feet from the heals to the toes; then massaging each toe from the nail upwards in slow, smooth rotations. Grip the foot between both hands and massage the bottom of the foot with your thumbs; putting effort in from leaning into the massage stroke rather than just tiring out your thumbs! If you feel small hard spots under the foot that kind of "pop \ crunch" as you go over them... ensure you keep at it; nice and gently. Breaking these deposits is a good thing and feels great! Circle around the ankles, rotate the foot and gently flex in each plane of motion. Carry the massage up the leg ensuring a good calf massage.
Step 7. Now that the foot massage is done have your partner return to a massage table or nicely laid out area with fresh clean sheets. Give them a towel for their neck and pillow under the ankles to better support the lower back. Either use a massage oil you have on had; or pick up some grape seed oil from the grocery store. Warm the oil in your hand before application or warm in the microwave and add a couple drops of essential oil if you've got it. Keep your partner warm by having a sheet\ blanket laid over top of them uncovering only the area your working on, then re-drapping as you move to the next. Have your partner take a couple deep cleansing breaths, and you match their breathing to get yourself in sync with their energy. Start from the feet and make your way up the body. Slow, deep strokes, keeping the palm of your hand against the skin. Avoid any pressure against bones; especially the spine; however running the fingers up along either side of the spine from the tailbone up, is a wonderful technique. Once the back is done, have your partner turn around and start again from the feet up. If you want a good tantric idea; ensure you gently massage the stomach in clockwise circles. To finish, offer a delightful scalp massage and circle around the temples, which are located just to the sides of the eyes, using small clockwise circles with your index finger.
Step 8. Your on your own from here!
Happy Valentine's Day
Namaste
PS **to all the guys; if your feeling artistic, try painting her toes; she'll love it and the effort will be greatly admired and bring a lovely giggle and smile that will make your heart glow. Never underestimate being a romantic being... even if your normally not.

So I gotta say that I love easily accessing recipes online! Perfect in a pinch! With either a laptop or ipad on the kitchen counter, that's all one needs to get things going!... and ingredients of course! ;-) It seems that so many recipes I look up are at... http://allrecipes.com. Every recipe i've tried from here has turned out always at 4-5 stars in my opinion! And this was todays wonder that got a 6 year olds 2 "thumbs up"!
What better thing to do with a kid after school but engage them with learning and participating in baking a home made chocolate cake... with icing of course! From picking what to make, to making a list, shopping for the essentials and measuring n' mixing. Such a healthier alternative that will stay with them their entire lives; other than letting "sitter telly" do all the work! I think its important to have that personal connection with them and to food! Much different than buying a cake out of the box or pre-made from the bakery. Passing on teachings of healthy, sustainable lessons my Nana passed onto me; with love.
3:00 Chocolate Cake
Ingredients - 2 cups white sugar
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup boiling water
Directions - Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two nine inch round pans.
- In a large bowl, stir together the sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add the eggs, milk, oil and vanilla, mix for 2 minutes on medium speed of mixer. Stir in the boiling water last. Batter will be thin. Pour evenly into the prepared pans.
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven, until the cake tests done with a toothpick. Cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
Chocolate Whipped Icing.
Ingredients:- 120 grams of butter
- 2 ½ cups of icing sugar
- ½ cup of cocoa
- 1/3 cup of milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
Method:- Chop the butter, place it in a bowl and cream it using an electric mixer or wooden spoon.
- Add the cocoa and the icing sugar a little at a time and beat into the butter.
- Add the milk and vanilla essence, mix until smooth and light. I actually mixed by hand the entire recipe.... a good work out! lol
make sure you let the cake cool before icing! Was perfect in time for an after dinner desert. The pre-dinner treat was filled with cake batter remnants and the covenant licking of the beaters! lol... in our case... the whisk.
SERVE WITH A GLASS OF MILK OR SUBSTITUTE & ENJOY.
Before I knew it the day was over! ...
Aunty M; signing out!

I had to write this down, as it turned out so incredibly amazing!!
I had some pepercorn seasoned steak left over from the other day I needed to use; already putting the first set of steak leftovers in the most yummiest green salad!
... now for breakfast! ...
I put to cook some fresh hashbrowns by peeling 1 potato and cutting into quite small cubes. I put them on foil in the toaster oven with some heathy vegetable oil, turmeric powder and garlic salt with some fresh ground sea salt with a bit of pepper. I set that to bake @ 400degrees. Back to the steak!...
I then sauteed a few pieces of white onion with olive oil and added some fresh chopped ginger (Gingers is awesome for the cardiovascular system!) 2 healthy eggs (do everything you can to make sure you buy ones that are either from your local farmer, organic, grain fed - no steroids!) broke em open, slowly let them cook a bit before cutting into the yolk; then gently scrambled. Once almost fully cooked, I added the steak pieces, green onions, chilli flakes and potatoes that were fully roasted.
Served with a touch of salsa, a dollop of sour creme, a little more green onion and 3 jalapenos
 HELLO YUMMINESS!!

Imagine the nutrients you can infuse into the skin with clean, therapeutic grade ingredients specially formulated to enhance natures healing benefits.
TO BEGIN...it's important to exfoliate the skin; either ezymatically (with fruit enzymes such a papaya) or manually with exfoliants such as organic sea salt or ground apricot seed powder. This process will prevent and remove the dead skin cells from building up on the epidermis (the outer layer of the skin) Doing this will revitalize, soften and stimulate circulation, increasing natural collagen production leaving you with a firmer more beautiful skin. It will stimulate circulation and promote detoxification.
Have the right scrub recommended for at home use and depending on your skin type use it 1-4 times a week.
HOW TO KNOW IF YOU HAVE DRY SKIN? -dry skin can look white, be flakey and feel itchy. Often feeling like it's being stretched. By gently cleansing the skin and removing these sticky, sluggish cells, your skin has the chance to absorb such bio-available ingredients as Canadian glacial clay and 98% active seaweed concentrate which will revitalize you and your skin from the inside out! Who needs a vitamin?
WHEN YOUR WRAPED UP...in so much healing mother earth energy; it's hard not to drift off into a peaceful, tranquil place. Especially if your getting a scalp neck and shoulder massage while the products go to work, penetrating through the outer layer of tissue and work on a cellular level (that is if you use natural products and pure essential oils; as their molecular structure is fine enough) Try a Soulful Indulgence Seaweed Firming Detox or Calming Skin Renewal to name a couple and feel the difference after just one treatment. Great for body, mind and soul relaxation.
